I am a Victorian Soul, live in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion, with my Hubby Joe, who is a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am LOVING Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

My Guest Room Update, Part 2

First , I want to Thank Angel , over at Sew Crafty Angel, for featuring my post, My Guest Room Update, Part 1, from last week's Wake Up Wednesday Linky Party!!

If you missed the post that Angel featured, please Click HERE ......

Today, I am going to share more of my Guest Room Update!!
As I mentioned in Part 1, I recently re-arranged this room............AGAIN!!
It seems like I am always re-doing this room.........
I think this time, except for having to paint a few furniture pieces next Spring, I finally have this room the way I want it.....
We last left off here........
At this tea cup shelf.......
In this post , I will be showing you this part of the Guest Room......
But let's get back to the Tea Cup Shelf.......
We will get to the Tea Pots on the shelf along the ceiling in a minute.......
I will be painting this shelf white next Spring.........
On top of the Shelf.....
All Flea Market, Yard Sale and Estate Finds!!

 Just a few Tea Cups......
Below the Tea Cup Shelf.....
Moving down the wall.....
Now the the shelf holding some of my Tea Pot Collection.......
This room was my younger son's room........
And this shelf once was used to store his DVD Collection on.......
Now it holds a few Tea Pots!!
The pink and blue doilies were made by my Maternal Grandmother.........
The plates commemorating my 2 Son's Births were made for me by my oldest niece, Lisa, who is only 12 years younger than me.......
It breaks my heart because Lisa recently lost her one and only child, Craig, to Suicide...........

Please keep her in your thoughts.........

Moving down the wall........

 On the wall.......
This wash stand, that was given to me by a neighbor, used to be in the Living Room a few years ago.....
I love me my Victorian Style......
I made "Rose" a few years ago and since I did not have her on the mantle as I did in the past, I needed somewhere to display her in all her beauty!!

This was such a fun project........
So what I did was I used a pedestal, placed a shelf that I re-did some time ago and also had no where to display, on top of the pedestal and then placed "Rose" on top of the shelf.......
I covered the pedestal with a vintage table topper.....
I do have intentions to "dabble" with these boots in the future......
In my next post, I will share this part of my Guest Room with you.....
The Curio.......
And my Tea Table.......
I am now working on decorating the inside and outside of the house for Fall so I will have lots to share with you in the future.......

Sneak Peak of some Fall vingettes in the Living Room.....

So I  hope you will come by and visit  again!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

If you do not have a blog, PLEASE  give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment.  If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......

Hugs,
Debbie
