I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

Spooky Dining Room, Part 1, 2015

Welcome to Part 1 of my Spooky Halloween Dining Room Tour!!!

But first I would like to Thank Brenda, over at Cozy Little House, for featuring my post,
Fall/Halloween in the Kitchen, from last week's Tweak It Tuesday Party!!
Thanks so much, Brenda!!

Please stop by and visit and link up to this great party!!

I have decorated our Dining Room this year for Halloween using the color Black, White and Silver like other years.......
But this year, I have thrown in a touch of orange......

This table is directly to the left as you enter the Dining Room from the Living Room......
I placed a silver mercury glass pumpkin in my vintage crystal bowl.........
A goblet filled with skulls and eyeballs!!
I displayed 2 peat pots that I embellished on this table.......
If you missed the post where I showed you these and other Halloween crafts that I made, Please click HERE
The black pumpkin was bought at Dollar Tree.......
A Halloween arrangement of black roses and fall leaves in a crystal vase......
  Underneath the table...

A pumpkin that I blinged up....
A spooky cat and pumpkin.......
In the corner.....
Is my Witches Brew Table......

But first let's take a look at the window divider between the Dining Room and the Living Room......
I love the hang things on this.....
Some Halloween signs.......
A Halloween Tussie Mussie that I made.....
I even decorated the clock!!
2 Skeleton Ladies hanging on the Clock......
Don't worry that the Witches Hat on the lamp will catch fire as there is a CFL bulb in the lamp that does not get hot......

Potions to make a Witches Brew are on this table.....

A Skull in an antique silver wedding basket......
The black and white "Wicked" plate was $2.49 in Wegman's.
Pier One has a set of 4 of these plates with different sayings for $25.00!!  I have one other one that you will see in the next post......
Most of the potion bottles I made by decoupaging labels on different jars......
I used a  Spider Web topper and a table runner on this table.......
The runner was bought on clearance at Big Lot's last year......
A marble topped pedestal table is next to the round table......
On it is an old Home Interiors Bird Cage that I spray painted black this year.....
A bow, a bat and a crow adorn the bird cage.....
A white glittered skull sits inside the cage......
It all looks a bit spookier at night though........

 Don't you think?????
In my next post, I will show you this part of the Dining Room......
I have been working almost all week ( filling in for a vacation) so I apologize for being behind on my return visits but I do promise that I will be by soon!!

I had a Fall Open House this past weekend for my Sister and her family and I enjoyed myself so much that I  forgot to take pictures!!   It was wonderful to see everyone!!

I  hope you will come by and visit  again!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

If you do not have a blog, PLEASE  give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment.  If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......
